I've noticed on these BDM eagles and also on the Bannfahne Bearers patches the swastika always seems crude and mishapen. Interesting that on such an important insignia that seems to be a common trait.
 
Hi all, lovely examples of the BDM eagles! I have an chance at one of these but with no RZM tag. Would someone be willing to give a ballpark price for one of these? Thanks for any help and your thoughts

There are a few factors you need to consider when pricing these .

1) Rank
2) Is there a number above the eagle.
3) Is the backing color dark blue or white.
4) Condition

Most often you will find these on dark blue backing .

The average price is around 500 dollars .. upwards , depending on rank .
 
Thank you both Joe and Paul for the fast replies and advice. I looked at the BDM eagle rather quickly at a friend of mines table (a dealer) at the Nashville show. So tonight I sent an e-mail asking for pics and I am waiting....I will update when I get news.
 
Look pretty good I wonder when they were made? I have a bullion one also and wonder if it is good.
