opinions needs on Hj 1932 Potsdam badge in silver

Hi I have just purchased this badge and have noticed some differences from other Hoffstatter badges.Noticebly the maker mark on the reverse is in a different position and the stippling effect on the obverse.Is this just a variation or have I landed a fake?All opinions much appreciated.
