I noticed this triangle at an old auction at a UK based auction house.

It looks like the thread is aluminium bullion or something similar. It's definitely not RZM, but could it be a genuine triangle?

Unfortunately not. This is the only picture they've put online.

I would pass and keep to only excepted Rzm examples ...easier to resell .

Hello,

This kind of triangle (bullion embroidered) never existed before 1945 within the HJ or the BDM ! This is a fantasy article.

Best regards

Has anybody seen or have a Gebiet triangle produced from Gold or Silver flatwire in the same style as the cotton Rzm regulation pattern in white and yellow cotton thread ?

Didn't buy it. It was already sold. Just wanted to share the picture and get some opinions on it for future reference (also for other collectors).

Hello Joecool,

There was only one manner of manufacturing HJ and BDM triangles : machine woven cotton (or silk at the end of the war). That means the same triangle from Reichsjugendführer (von Schirach, Axmann) to the Pimpf ("little boy").

Best regards

Didn´t we already have the discussion about this kind of triangles a few times?

@indept: Stick to the RZM regulated ones, especially the Nord Nordsee is a very common one which can be found at a cheap price.
