That`s exactly what I though, i.e: probably thought/and or maybe considered when I saw/looked at/gazed apon the images/and or image.
At first I thought "This is a truly scarce and rare...." and then it hit me/and or dawned on me, i.e: I realized..i.e: a realization overcame and/or overcumed on me.
"That`s surely not orginal" I thought/and or assumed.

this is the first time I see a fake " Gausieger" on this site and the unanimous verdict for most of us !

I think Mario is more specialized in the cloth than metal badges. He can not be expert in all items.

This one looks very much like our old friend, the modern fake.
From the same web site as post 1.
Numbers look very much like they are part of the same group... as well as tell-tale N°1 with thick leg.
Attachment plate too, for me thats made yesterday, like the three I bought back in 2011.
On the fake thread, we had the groups with similar numbers;
114452
118892

114448
113311

He doesnt have to be a specialist in metal badges. That's why forums like this are here. Why not simply ask before putting a fake up and then spending half an hour describing it in positive terms? No excuse for dealers to be putting obvious fakes on their sites these days. He's no better than Wittmann or the blasted budgie when it comes down to it.

Anyone remember the african hero? If I remember correctly he made or had them made many (any badge you could think of) badges ..... and they were very high quality fakes.
