Hi everyone!

First i want to introduce myself.
My name is Nick, i am 19 years old and i live in Holland.
I always search with a metaldetector, looking for relics from WW2.
Last week i came across a dump of BDM buttons.
I had never seen them before.
I noticed that these buttons are made of glass and not bakelite.
I can't find much info about these buttons on the internet.
Also i found other buttons, maybe there is someone on this forum that knows a little bit more about these items?
The big ones are stampt with: RZM A14/2.
Thanks!

They are good BDM buttons . . you can sell them for around 3 euro each .

Nice find. You have also some glass collar shirt buttons for civilian use.

I went back to the same spot today, and then i found this..
It is a big round plate with a eagle on it!!
It got two small holes in it for placing it on something..
It looks like a hitleryouth eagle but i don't realy know what it is..
The eagle got a shield on his breast with the colours black/white/red.
The plate is 10 CM..
Does anyone knows what it could be?
Thanks!

if everything is BDM related you have found a dump site by one of the members of the unit. The plate was possibly something painted by the girls. Go back there may be much more nice stuff in the area. :canada1
