Here's my flieger-HJ winter shirt. Shirt and boards (Bann 74) are OK. Gliderbadge and ribbon original but possible added later (and maybe the boards?).
Great looking shirt Henrik
very nice shirt and a great looking glider badge,
Nice one Henrik. Even if the insignia was added as long as it matches and was done well, it's a great one to show.
In my opinion 95% of all German uniforms 1930 to 1945 have been restored.
That's cool. My heavy flieger hj shirt really differed. Yours is dark with sew in boards.
Mine was more of a luft field grey, with two silver buttons on the cuff.
Mine had a very faded cloth rzm tag at the bottom of the inside.
It might be in Angolia's bbok. I don't know.
I wonder if mine was a later piece than yours. As the war progressed the flieger hj became more involved with the Luftwaffe, which could explain the color. And I would think that the slip on boards would be late war.
Also, the nsfk-ish gliders insignia makes me think early.
It's interesting to see these different uniforms examples 'in the flesh'.
Here is a photo.
Here's a photo of what seems to be different colured/types of uniforms used by Flieger-HJ
very nice shirt that well done
I think restore a uniform whit original things is ok!
