This beauty piece is now in my hands!
I will try to get a belt and bucle and a shirt for this one; I know pants will be almost impossible.

And many thanks Joe; I am so happy with that amazing piece; It is better in hands than in photos. Now I will try to complete it with a shirt and a belt!!

Some views of the pants. Always more scarce than jacket. This one was sold on auction.

they are really rare and scarce, I do not plan to get them for now... mostly because found them is almost impossible!

When I remember to these pants, I get mad! It was a real bargain  I say that because I just rediscovered this document.

Albrecht: The drawings originally come from "Die Deutsche Polizei" (Taschenkalender fĂĽr die Freiw. Feuerwehren)
from 1943.

Lauri: question about the tunic you showed. Too me it seems much to brown. It should be olive-brown,
which tends to be more olive-green.
Is the color caused by photographing?

My uniform came from the former owner, a member from the Bayreuth-district
(Bayr.Ostmark).
It had no triangle or shoulder-straps. I added one from another district as I had
not the particular triangle available. You can see the owner in my handbook on
page 398 (below).

I did look through some papers from the guy and see now in an
Ablieferungs-Bescheinigung from April 1, 1943 his uniform was
dyed. Who knows the uniform I had, may have had the wrong color?
I do not have it anymore for about 30 or more years. And so I cannot
check. I neither do have a photographic mind!

The stuff from this boy was supplied ny the city of Amberg. He had
signed for it and was NOT allowed to wear it elsewhere, just with
fire-brigade service.

Wim,
You have a nice display at that time. And very fortunate to have the pants that goes along with the tunic !
Other photos with and without flash. I think it's oliv braun ?

The color with the first photo was about the color for the tunic and pants I had.

It's all a long time ago. The photo was made November 12, 1977. Many of our
forum-members did not even collect in those days. Some were not even born then.
All I got went through correspondence or was bought at shows (mainly in Germany,
like Stuttgart). These days it is much easier with Internet. No doubt about it!!

Damn Wilhelm. I was born in 1962 .
In 1977 I had already been collecting for 3 years and yes , I did have a few HJ items then including a complete winterblouse with trousers and cap .

QUOTE=wilhelm saris;68374]Oh boy, I feel myself old now.
In 1962 I left the army after my service. I started collecting in 1969.
My first item was a Japanese Katana with a leather scabbard.[/QUOTE]
