Early H.J. shorts were khaki brown colored. The tag may be okay but I would wait to see what Joecool, Lauri, Widukind, or Albrecht say on this pair.
 
Also need pictures of the whole shorts not just the label. Early HJ shorts may be dyed black later but DJ summer shorts were always black even early in 1934.
 
I would need to see more photos, Buttons (In english!) looks a bit suspicious to me...
Until there are not more photos, I can not give an opinion
