HJ Drillich blouse disguised as a Kriegsmarine work tunic

Sometimes it pays to look. I was looking at a militaria site in the Netherlands and look at what I found .

This rare blouse was listed as a Kreigsmarine work tunic .
The blouse was humped up postwar by either a dealer or collector who could not positively identify it. So they made it a fantasy item by adding a KM breast eagle and KM buttons on the breast pockets .

What it is is an original HJ later style short drill blouse worn at schools or on special assignments .
The buttons on the inside are marked HJ-DJ .
I bought this for a steal of a deal .... only $200 dollars .
And yes it will be restored correctly .

Lauri ...I saw them also , and I won them for 110 euro.
Now , all I need is the cap that is made out of the same material .
 
Great score! Not easiest to find but with patience I'm sure you will find the cap in the same material!

I had the possibility to buy this garment but now only the pants is for sale :frusty:
