NSKK HJ Fahranzug

Hello Lauri,
very good question, I think there is no difference.
Here is a picture of the RZM label inside the jacket,it also could be from the NSKK.
Regards
Alois

Fahranzug pictures

Hello Joe,
thank you for uploading the 2 pictures.
I think the Fahranzug on the 2 pictures is the earlier brow version, (see the picture from the RZM regulations from 1936) because in front of the jacket i can se no hocks for the belt.
Regards

The Überanzug (des NSKK) was for the first time announced and its manufacturing-procedures
included, with the issue from the Mitteilungsblatt der RZM from March 30, 1935. The drawing
included is shown here.
I think both were the same for HJ, as well as NSKK, while the youngsters were trained at the
motor-sportschools from the NSKK and they were supplied from stocks from such a school.
That's why they do wear the pebbled SA-style of buckle (with some of the shown photographs).

It was noted that in the seams on both sides a small hole
was positioned (4.5-5 cm from the lower jacket edge) for
positioning the hook (Koppelhaken). At the back the hook
was to be "covered".

The 1936 NSKK regulation mentions it to be olive-green.
The Übungsanzug had to be wide as that the regular uniform
could worn beneath it.
I have no information about brown. I have no time to go
through my HJ-regulations if anything is said there about
a color.

Fahranzug red-brown

Hello Wilhelm,
I thought it must be such a red-brown Fahranzug, because I read this in your book....
