HJ Standard bearer Bann 250 sleeve insignia

A seldom seen combination, which I used in my in Germany published book about gorgets.
Shown two patches from the same HJ guy, along with his actual gorget.

I can't get it upside down.

The stuff is in the hands of a German collector.

With one patch ones sees the braid is not properly sewn on. This is not
impossible, as shown by a photo from a patch actually worn and also
included in my gorget-book.

Thank you Mr Saris for your reply and help and thank you Thomas for the photos of the youth documents, those are wonderful. I wouldn't discredit a item because of a number attached to it but better safe than sorry I suppose. Thanks to all for bringing this thread back to life, Michael

The somewhat crude appearance of original examples of this patch has always puzzled me. It was a significant honour to carry the Bann flag but the patches appear almost home made.

Here is another one that is on an online auction.

Hi everyone, hope all is well. I was very lucky as I got duped by one of these at the weekend. Fortunately I was able to return it quickly for a refund! I cannot view the pictures on here unfortunately for some reason but the one I had had an authentic looking RZM label on the reverse. I’ve started another thread with pictures.
