I have the red stamp shown in post #2 and the green BDM shown in post #3. Those are leftovers from my first collection. They are sitting on the desk right now as I just found them yesterday.

Very nice Brad! :001_cool: I have a few TR stamps but no HJ :(

Would love some though! Maybe one day!

IMO it's not a X, crossed horses symbolizes Niedersachsen area.
Any idea for the small face of your stamps ?

After research it is an abbreviation. I don't know exactly the signification for DVG (or DGV?), maybe Datenverarbeitungsgesselschaft.

The text translated: Spare bei der Sparkasse = Save by the Savings Bank

If the nose is the letter S (it looks a littel curved), the abbreviation could be DSGV = Deutscher Sparkassen- und Giroverband (German Savings Banks Association). DSGV was founded in 1924.

Do not split them up Ewan unless you buy 2 sheets. I have found a site that sells them for $30us or $50us a sheet I can't remember. I will be purchasing a sheet myself . Thanks for the info lauri, henrik,WIDUKIND & metho31 . I'm in the process of trying to get the full series metho31 thanks for sharing your pics.
