They are very stiff and it seams if there was a oakleave on them.

Love them .... is there evidence of a third pip on each board ?

I think ther is no evidence for a third pip. But a print from a Bannführer-oakleaf, but no stiching holes.

The oakleaf would have to be embroidered.
