HJ Stammfuhrer?

This set was offered on today's update at Carsten Baldes. It appears to be a nice set without numbers. IMO the pips have been added to embellish the straps. A HJ-Stammführer should have black straps with silver twist cord piping. Has anyone seen a Stammfuhrer with general HJ straps in photos or have an example to show? Any thoughts on this set? They have been sold, not to me.

Here's an example of a good HJ-Stammführer strap. This one belongs to Paul. I've not seen General HJ straps used for ranks higher than Hauptgefolgschaftsfuhrer.

I agree ...another set of straps with added pips .

As you say Darin, these should have the silver twisted cord that is clearly shown on period colour plates. The pips look like they were put on yesterday.

Whether a late-war Stammführer knocked these up due to material shortages and wore them is a theory only period photos will support.
