I like the DJ's better than the HJ's.
We see painted HJ's and NSDAP badges late war, why not DJ's?

Hi Pat,

By that time there would have been no requirement for new badges to be produced as the DJ badge had ceased to be worn on uniforms in 1934. After that point it was permitted for wear on civilian clothing but those early DJ boys would have been the total market for the badge. I don't imagine that many of them were still wearing it in the 1940s.
 
a few collectors think all ''late war'' painted hj membership pins are repros/fakes this is nonsense in my opinion you see also late war painted nsdap membership pins also the student bund diamonds can be found in the painted form, these are normaly(from what i have seen) all made from zinc and they are what they are sold as late war pieces imo, well the originals are of course :scared:
