Early hollow-back Hitler Youth achievement badges

Hi guys

When talking about hollow ones, I almost forgot that I have this little 16 mm miniature of the DJ achievement badge, although a DJ and not HJ, I still think it belongs to this thread.

Very interesting. Never seen a hollow DJ but it looks good! Is there any RZM marks?

No markings at all. I am also convinced that it is a good one. :good:

As you can see, it is black paint over copper or similar, so it is not a silver one made to a black one.

Any other opinions ?

Looks like a nice one to me, pretty honest, messing with black paint. Could be one of the very first ones like we see the early "big brother" HJ Leistungsabzeichen in hollow form.
These small things I`d personally just keep to one side as not only just "a small badge", but as an interesting small badge, and then in a few years maybe more will be known.

Here we have another hollow HJ-one - silver - at sale at Weitze.

No. 2902, a relative high number on a hollow one. The badge in post 26 is NOT a hollow one, and it is with No. 3018, so this 2902 is i.m.o. the highest No. until now.

What is the highest No. any have seen on these hollow ones:

Black ?
Bronze ?
Silver ?

Well the maker who made the solid unmarked badge is the same maker, so I guess that must be around the "changing" point.
