Oval 1943 HJ Reichssportwettkampf winner's badge (Siegernadel)

Hi Pete

THANKS - really good information. (y)

Where did you find it? and what is the original source ?

It is perhaps worth mentioning that in the 1943 competitions only 30 percent of the participants managed to get the required badge. Therefore, in April 1944, the RJF again ordered the introduction of a compulsory sports lesson in all HJ units, not to be mixed up with the additional school sports.... (Buddrus, p. 240)

(Bronzene Siegernádel) Bronze winner pin 1943 - Laurel Wreath Open

(Silberne Siegernádel) Silver winner pin 1943 - Laurel Wreath Closed

This badge fascinates me.

I have both versions and I would like to buy some more copies.

These are my pieces:

The two versions differ in the laurel wreath and in the type of numbers used in the 1943 sign.

In 1944, due to the state of the war and the shortage of materials, a small cardboard card was issued....

This document belongs to the collection of my friend Reinhard2.

It is identical to the first, it seems to have been taken from the same mold.

It also exists in a dark chocolate brown shade.

How beautiful¡¡¡¡

The one from 1942 is in orange-brown plastic, I still don't have this variant.

The 1943 Siegernadel with open crown is in magnificent condition.
Magnificent contribution, thank you.

It's always a pleasure to provide a little help
I didn't know the "chocolate -brown tone" version
THANKS
