Christopher Ailsby and the Golden HJ Honour Badge with Oak leaves.

NEVER said in fact here on this forum it would have been summarily blown out of the water , as I previously said another bogus theory put forward somewhere to sell the junk.

Post 110 is interesting. Just got there.

You will notice from the list of people who were awarded this High Class Award, (in alphabetical order for an easy overview here) that with the exception of 2 or 3 names, all the other known names to date are the Elite of the Elite, the very top of the Feeding chain, the people who were responsible for running the Third Reich. A fact to consider, when contemplating if these awards were made in zinc and Galvanized low class silver. (Yes i am aware that many collectors and even Authors like Mr Ailsby refer to this as Gold gilt, Feuervergoldet usw.... but until now, not a single soul has been able to prove that any awards were Feuervergoldet, we dont understand this process, and nobody has even made a step in the right direction and started to find out. IMHO any collector or Dealer who uses the words Feuervergoldet/Gold gilt needs the words citation needed next to it, and really needs to do some solid research on this process first before just rabbiting off what they have read somewhere because it sounds good.)

Can you imagine the looks on the faces of people like Himmler, Schirach, Todt, Axmann, Ley und C° when you present them with the Highest award .... in ZINC ? :h

This is possibly the only award i know of that is worth considerably less, when its pimped out ?
€150.- could be yours... some lovely little gems glued on there....
:h Wesite Link, pics below, direct link to item..Aus Nachlass !

Also a first time for me, to See a Third Reich militaria site with a category for PORNO & EROTIK ? not to mention that when you Mouse-over the web tab, its tagged with the following: Für Damen, Herren und Kinder, beim Onlineshop Günstig einkaufen. I need a drink after seeing this... somewhat confused?

I thought I'd add the one currently listed on the forthcoming Hermann Historica auction......

Cheers
Don
Well this one went unsold on HH then, seeing as it is once more back at weitzes for sale :thumb:

https://www.weitze.net/detail/97/Go..._an_Reichsleiter_Philipp_Bouhler__150097.html

Went from Weitze to HH and now back to Weitze.. seems it did not work. Some things do, Weitze had a Austrian flag up for sale on his site for years at €900.- which nobody took, it also went to HHs last auction where it sold for..wait for it...€3000.- lol.. if you believe that then you deserve a 50 Years Ost Pruessen Jägerschaft badge for free !

this has been on weitze for ages i started a thread on it god knows how long ago, the fact nobody will touch it speaks volumes for it lol

Surprised that HH touched it, after all they have handled and sold a few of the rare Originals. And were any of the solid Gold originals they sold marked with an Awarded number? No. Maybe alarm bells dont need to ring when you have an International reputation to cover any doubt. Glad nobody bought it, wonder how long before it is marked SOLD and then re-appears at HH in a few years, or on CGM auctions.

heres one that came up on kai's site today the fact that he is only asking €855 for it makes me think he knows something lol:lol:

good to see they are carrying on the long tradition of selling fakes

Its the identical fake as i took apart in posts 70,71,72,73.. that cost me €20.- and he wants €855.-??
What he wants, is a slap, thats all.

i know, what i was getting at was the fact he was only asking €855 means to me that he knows its a fake because when he has had others on his site and other sites that they believe are truly genuine the price is in the thousands

Weitze had the same fake one up for sale last year for €3500.- and i am sure that Winkler watches Weitzes sales and visa versa, after all, they are the very best of friends :w00t:
What adds salt to the wounds of collectors is that both Winkler and Weitze use Herman Historica as well to sell their wares, or to buy... so they will both have observed the three Gold Originals that HH sold since 2004 for between €5000- and €15,000.- so they BOTH know what an original looks like.
ONLY €855.- ? you could say the same with a slap.. after all, its ONLY a slap :swiss
Can i glue mine back together, and ask ONLY €500.- for it ?

Someone else will have to, i fell out with him over €5.- a while back, as well as his arrogance, so have not been back to his shop since. I just tried to "log in" but i see my account has been canceled! (good stuff.)

Here are the pics. Despicable that this rubbish is being offered as authentic. As you say Stu, the price says a lot about what he thinks of the badge but someone will think they are getting a bargain....

But? Patzwall already slammed this fake, as well as the bogus BM number, as well as Nimmergut who was rooting for this RZM number ... INTO THE GROUND ? In-Print.. so whats this jokers game???
The €5.- that they STOLE from me, is well worth it when i see this Wee-Hing stuff for sale.
Whats a Wee Hing?

:h

Had to laugh out loud at that one. Looks like a kid stuck some of his birthday cake decoration on it..

I stand corrected.

That really bites then. I feel bad for the guy who bought them, I am sure they costed a bundle. With the amount of fakes out there it is really making it had to stay in this hobby without doing an exhausting amount of research. Even then you are taking a chance still. I have bought my share of fakes over the years costing me over $2000 dollars.

Does anyone recommend a really solid dealer for hj stuff who is on the level?
