I as curious to see if this was real or not. No markings but it does look worn down a bit. Sorry about the bad camera quality.:help:

There are a few threads on badges like this. The original issue HJ with oakleaves was in 585 gold and was marked accordingly. There is no evidence that cheaper, so-called dress copies could be bought and worn. The somewhat well-known but disgraced militaria author C. Ailsby is one of those who has championed the type of badge you show but he despises footnotes and has a perennial dislike of people who ask him to provide proof to substantiate what he has published (proof for a lot of things, not just these badges).
