The "B" designation usually means a replacement piece . This one also has serial number so more educated opinions are needed .
 
It's a good one. During a certain time they delivered replacement badges with the original serial number.

Correct, a nice one too. Deschler was the only maker we know of so far that used the letter A on these badges as well. Other makers that used the letter B plus the award number are Deumer, Paulmann & Crone, Baumeister.....
 
Hi Jo,

I know it from the Baumeister, and you mentioned the Deumer on the Phone but never saw it on a Paulmann & crone. Do you gave some pictures to share? Both the Deumer and the Paulmann & Crone must be pretty rare...

Wim, the Paulmann numbered B-stück was on Weitzes site for over a year, but is gone now, i am sure it was shown on a forum, or mentioned? I might have images of it but would have to look. The numbered B-stück from Deumer is below :w00t:

Interesting! Thanks for the picture. Also the first time I see such a low number on a Deumer.
