Odd HJ knife??

Hi all, I posted this one in my collection thread a few weeks ago and got a reply saying it could be a fake, But I would like some more opinions on it.
I purchased it many years ago from a dealer for cheap money as the sheath was post-war, The HJ diamond is odd as it has a gold border around it.
(The sheath next to it is a genuine one the post-war one is in a box somewhere)

I am thinking it is possibly a post war make??

The knife I am talking about is on the right, the one on the left is my lovely and genuine M7/2 Knife.

are these 2 pics rom 2 diff daggers as one has damage to the diamond and the other does not ?????

No, Its hard to see on the 2nd one as its in the light, its the same knife though.

Looks like some gunk on the diamond not damage however the diamond grips are parallel indicates repro....... and likely therefore the gold diamond too

this parallel cut is seen on eickhorn grips however
