I would welcome opinions on this item. Probably rehandled, but the inset Diamond seems to fit very well. There is the usual faint inscription on one side of the blade. It is RZM marked on the other and also M7/51. I will post more pics when get them.
Thanks,
Peter.

Hi Peter,

definitely a re-grip job with origional hj daimond insignia,

Not an easy type to find with the RZM M7/51 stamp with motto imo.

Regards Mac 66.

Thanks Mac,
It's certainly different!
Peter.

I can only say "why?" Who would do this to put white handles on a HJ knife? There is no market for such a knife or? Not among hj collectors anyway

Hi Crack,
I can only assume that someone had a knife with a wrecked handle and jazzed it up with some white plastic.
Peter.

To be sold for man hundred (thousand?) euros as "ultra rare" BDM (or JM or DJ) "bring back vet" Knife?

Hi Paul and Antonio, missed your reply for some reason Antonio, but both you and Paul have a very valid point. Personally I am amazed and disappointed at the dealers, some quite established, and accorded "expert" status that seem to jump on the bandwagon and invent, or accept someone else's invention of a spurious pedigree for some item that is a blatant modification of an original item.
Peter.
