I would use a little Ren Wax and thats all.Looks like a well used knife. After all it's 70 years old.I hope all I need is a little Ren Wax to keep me looking good when I am 70.

Pour vous le couteau vient-il bien de la période 33-38 ?
    Quel est sa valeur ?

We have a few guys who are good with the HJ knife Illidan87 and I'm sure they will see this thread.

I'm no knife expert myself but I would agree with operaman - good well-used knife.

I think you can find Ren-Wax in an antique coin shop or on line at Noble coin.com.or you can Google Ren-Wax and it should come up. Since the blade has a motto it should be from the earlier period,I think they dropped the motto in 1936. As to value I think somewhere between $300-$400 should be about right.

I think a value would be more £50 its a very very very worn salty knife original but really a cheap one
