transitional Eickhorn HJ knife

i recently added this M7/66 eickhorn RZM dated 39 transitional knife to my HJ-knife collection,.i would love your thoughts on the scabbard spcifically.personally i think the hanger has been post war replaced & the origional scabbard re-furbished.
the diamond & plate's are in great condition,diamond has some movement.not a perfect blade has some sharpening,.makermarks are in great condition.any comments much appretiated,.thanks.

Nice knife - the scabbard would most likely have been refurbished by Paul at Lakesi detrader.

This is the same as others he has done.

Here's another example currently for sale from him - same hanger.

yeah,i will keep an eye out for a scabbard,not likely but ill try,.still i dont mind.i love the knife.thanks for the link russ.

Yes, true, but in this case, it's only the scabbard which may not have had a strap and another scabbard will not be too difficult to find. In my experience, Paul always discloses any work he has carried out on an item, and this one is fairly obvious to most.
