A nice little photo of several HJ Leaders, showing the First Pattern Feldscher shoulder boards in wear I just won on Ebay for a good price. Many appear to be wearing wound badges, possibly former combat soldiers serving in the HJ after being wounded. Rare to see photos of these HJ boards in wear in period photos. Enjoy.

Great photo Daren , I dont think they are combat veterans , as the straps all look to be the pre 38 pattern . Also , the badge that looks like a wound badge is to big to be a wound badge . It may in fact be some sort of a tinnie . I could be wrong ... just a guess my friend .

I think he is wearing the light blue lanyard for medic. Thank you for this very interesting picture Darin.

Blue "Leader Lanyard"

Hallo Darin,
here is a picture of my blue lanyard. She is a little dirty, but inside she is light blue. She is 32cm long.
Hope you enjoy the pictures.
Best Regards

A high price to pay for just a photo , however ; extreamly rare to find a photo that shows the liferune feldscher insignia on the shoulderstraps .
