Are the men sitting one row up Hitlerjugendführer's? Young man in the top row right has an arrow. What is that for? Photo was taken at a youth camp in August 1933. Thanks

Hi Wim,

not doubting your expertise and maybe I make a fool of myself, but why can't the men with visor not be of the Stahlhelmbund?

What are these sports-shirt boys with the "U" at their chest?

The boy at the very top right seems to wear a MHJ Kolani.

Rgds

The Reichskuratorium trained young men from all kinds of organizations,
as you can see with the photo. The RKJ was a training-course for catholics,
evangelics, communists, nazis, Stahlhelm or whatever.

The Stahlhelmbund did not wear these tunics with these rank/function indication,
but the tunics were later worn by the SA-Ausbildungswesen (and also the NSKK).
The headgear is not in accordance to any Stahlhelm-regulation.

The Stahlhelm-organization was a big supporter of the Reichskuratorium. They
already did send members and their youngsters to RKJ training in 1932.

In the American magazine "Military Advisor" from winter 2009/2010 an extensive
article was being published, written by a friend. All material for the article came
from my files and was handed over to him. I edited the article with over eight
pages.
