Hello,

Here we have a Ausweis issued on september, 18 1944 by Bann 503 (Wien-Süd, Bezirk III) to a half-jude boy (Mischling I.Grades) commandeered to HJ duty if necessary (... Für den Dienst in der HJ bereitgestellt).

The discovery in history is endless !

Best regards

Now that's an interesting piece...
Confrontational that the blood line really was an issue back then.

Good find :thumb: Yes, as you say "HJ but not HJ". An order regarding part-jewish kids dated 18.10.1941 shows that this chap was, as 1/2 jewish (Mischling I. Grades), not eligible to become a member of the HJ (Stamm-HJ) or to be part of HJ activities/duties and so the card is showing only that he has been registered in accordance with the compulsory youth service law (Jugenddienstpflicht).
