I strongly suspect that the serial number is 30924 Steve. I don't have many in the bronze list but going on what I have they got to six-figure serial numbers in 1942/43 so it seems a reasonable assumption that the number is as stated there and that the mark to the left of the 3 is just some kind of smudge.

Interesting card though. Can you read the missing bits in that stamp beneath the signature at all? I can see 'Der Leiter der St... .. im Standort Essen''

Nice set :thumb:

It looks like ..Stelle HJ .. ive tried to enhance it as you understand the lettering :thumb:

The HJ Feldscher passbook is the fist one I have seen with the Gefolgschaftsfeldscher printed below the passphoto .

Thanks Steve. Looks like 'HS' to me. 'Leiter der Stelle HS im Standort Essen'. Haven't a clue what HS means though.

HS vs KS

Thanks Steve. Looks like 'HS' to me. 'Leiter der Stelle HS im Standort Essen'. Haven't a clue what HS means though.

Good morning Garry and Steve,

to be honest I can read a 'Leiter der Stelle KS im Standort Essen' to me and as longer I look at the scan the more confident I am. Unfortunately I don't know what could be KS.
Your turn, Garry - can you bring light on that? I'm sure Steve would be happy.

Turned up his old thread on a search but yes Daniel, you're right of course. This is indeed Stelle KS (Körperliche Schulung).
