Hi,

here is my first contribution ...
i just purchased few cloth items coming directly from an estate of a vet officer who served in 2nd DB (died few years ago in France).
This guy belonged to earlier collectors
i already bought from this place a cigars etui made of leather with HG blazon !!!

this DJ banner is IMO an early one for BERLIN.

Feel free to comment.

Thanks for looking,
Xavier

PS : sorry for the poor quality of the pics

Are you agree for saying that it Is an early banner ?
(Regarding twisted string B&W, longer and heavy silver fringes, design of the bear, 2 pieces sigrune, etc ....)

Hi Xavier,

I like this one too. There is a regulation about the application of emblems to one side of the DJ fanfare banners so the likelihood is that your banner dates to 1937 or later.

Thank you Garry.
It Is a great source of informations !
it confirms my first thought : early production.
