I'm going to look at these for sale tomorrow any feedback on what to look for on the pennants, the armband and buckle I'm ok with. I will have them in my hands to inspect.

The pennants appear to be small non regulation type items. I would view the red and white example with some skepticism. Reminds me of the fake "DJ" armbands that are sometimes seen around.
 
Well I picked them both up cheap, black light tested them at home and the only thing that glowed was the top stitching so maybe old material made into fake flags or repaired desk flags either way not to much invested
 
Sometimes period items can show glow if washed with detergents or modern soaps.

Some early synthetic materials glows in black light. There was an article years ago in Military Advisor about black light testing, I'll try to find it.
