You've probably seen it before but here is one of my favourite items. The banner is single sided, unmarked, and the trumpet is brass with nickel fittings which have taken on the patina often seen on SA and SS daggers. Also attached is the red and white lanyard-type rope, probably for use as a shoulder strap. Hope you like it!

Russ

lovely russ, did you read in one of the threads about the regulation that dj banners where to be made one sided so the bann could personalise the second side themselves, maybe this is one of the ones that never got round to getting finished

Many thanks for the kind words gents. I just love this item and have had quite a few offers for it, but, it stays with me!

Hans, a very nice example too, very similar to mine - thanks for showing it.

Stuart, yes I read the thread. Some people view single sided banners with suspicion and although I know my example is genuine, it was pleasing to see the regulation that Garry posted.

The fanfare trumpet is very nice Hans! The mannequin is superb - what a fantastic combination to have in your collection, I love it!

I'm hoping to put together a similar display but I don't have the shirt or shorts yet.

Regards

Russ
