When I did collect, I did own:
BDM 31/171
JM 5/622

They were sold in about 1981. Don't know where they are now,as the lad - who bought them- does not collec
t anymore for atleast 20 years!

A friend of mine in Belgium owns:
HJ-Bannfahne 426
DJ-Jungbannfahne 916
HJ-Gefolgschaftsfahne 18/744 (is shown earlier, but from another owner)
DJ-Fähnleinfahne 12/538
JM-Jungmädel-Untergauwimpel 323
BDM-Untergauwimpel 206
BDM-Gruppenwimpel 22/410
JM-Gruppenwimpel 30/392
Further he owns a few, which do not have a number (BDM and JM)

Hello HJ-collector: my friend owns possibly over 200 Third Reich flags from all kinds of
organizations: military, political and some civil. I think he owns at least one flag or car
pennant from every known organization, that officially carried a flag!

Hi there, just wondering what that "G" stands for. I havent seen that before.

I was told it was for orchestra and singing by another member who researched it on the Waf forum

This is not a "G" but rather an "S". "S" is the abbreviation of "Spieleinheit" (musical formation) as mentioned by Gtbpappy. The initial regulation (an RJF Reichsbefehl dated Nov 1937) on these pennants shows that the numbering convention was "S" over the Untergau number. Example:

S
123

Yours has:

S1
311

This means that Untergau 311 had more than one of these units and therefore that S1/311 this was the first of them. There is a regulation on shoulder strap buttons for the HJ and DJ where this convention (S1, S2 etc) is noted.

There were also special pennants for the Rundfunkspielschar with the numbering convention:

RS (Rundfunkspeilschar)
1
(Schar number)

Thank you Garry,
my first impession was also that this is an S.
But I am no specialist and did not have the information you are providing here.
This is why I like this forum so much.
The information given is very reliable:
RJF Reichsbefehl dated Nov 1937

Thanks Christian and also thanks to Gtbpappy and Pimpf359 for the new additions which I'll add to the main lists in a moment.
