Hello guys,

Can anyone tell me what kind of pennant this is?

Is this a pennant for the Flemish HJ?
Or could it be Deutsche Jungvolk?

All help appreciated.

Regards,
Sven

Hi Sven,

That design is for the "Vlaamse Jeugd". I have no idea if the pennant is original. It looks well-made though.

I know, it’s the second thread I revive…
But the same as the NSJV trumpet banner , sadly this one’s fake as well.

Why exactly is it fake? Because the design did not exist or because of the way it was made? The anser to that is more helpful than just saying that it's a fake. Thanks.

Hi, you’re absolutely right about that.
I have just answered your question in the thread about the trumpet flag as well , and the answer to that is almost entirely the same as my answer here…
The only difference is that the design of the lion on the trumpet flag hasn’t been proven to have existed periodically.
And this design is known to be period , and also proven to have been used by the Vlaamsche Jeugd before they were absorbed by / transformed into the HJ.
