Hello,

I show some steps of my fathers HJ activities. As a 15 years old boy he managed the Wimpelweihe/flag celebration 1940 in Volkmarsen, northern Hessen. He is the one with badges on both arms and one shoulder stripe. I count 14 DJ boys, so he was a Jungenschaftsführer. In front of his legs I guess a covered HJ drum. I wonder what is in his right hand fingers. Because there arent any leaves on the trees, the weather seems to be autumn, all the boys wear shorts.

The second picture shows my father with HJ comrads in long winterclothes. The foto was developed in Kassel, Hessen.

I scanned the membership book of the Deutsche Arbeitsfront including HJ stamps from 04.1939 to 12.1940.

His woven DSB J badge.

I continue. Regards

Thanks for uploading these Northwind. Could that possibly be his knife in his right hand?
