An item like this will always have to be defended by the owner, especially if selling or trading later. Better to add items that there is no question of to the collection IMO.

Holzwurm, no problem for me as long as you do not publish the full article.
You could have mentioned the credit, as the guy is a bit touchy!
The Weitze-triangle is okay. I thought it is the one shown in my article,
but it is too long ago. Can't remember. I thought the triangle was years
ago from Francis Catella.

Hi All,

Interesting Thread. I wonder if there were more triangles in Spain apart from those two. Having a look at the German School in Sevilla (South of Spain) there were between 150 and 240 Kids studying in it at the end of the 30's, beginning of the 40's. Enough to have their own Triangle?

Best Regards

Antonio

Hello Wim,

I confirm you that the triangle "Spanien-Barcelona" currently for sale at Helmut Weitze, came well from the ex Catella's collection. It was sold in 2009 and I see it has remained without being sold in the store.
His entire collection of HJ triangles was sold to your friend Philippe Gillain the same year.

Best regards

Eric
