This one is up for sale on another forum, its obvious that it is self made, do you think that such pieces existed or is this just crap? (I don't think of buying it, just asking)

I do think homemade triangles existed , however ; with homemade insignia ...the resell value will not be appreciated ...stick with regulation insignia .
 
If this patch is to be believed then we must also believe that the member sewed it onto his black HJ shirt (or onto his/her scarf which makes even less sense).
 
They both look like some alcoholic Gypsy was given a crochet needle, some cloth and yarn, and shown an image drawn by a stick in mud to copy from.
He came close, though :thumbup: both times.
 
here is another fake in my possession, bought about 20 years ago.
I am sure, these triangles are all fake and they never existed at the time of the third Reich!
We can see them regularly on militaria shows.
