Hello,

is in any collection an "NPEA Ruffach" district triangle know?

Or in this particular NPEA did they just wear the "NPEA" triangle?

Regards

ADM

Hello ADM,

the triangle of NPEA Rufach was never worn because it never existed.
The last NPEA triangles manufactured, were triangles of Austrian institutes (Traiskirchen, Wien-Breitensee, Wien-Theresianum, Hubertendorf-Türnitz) and also that of NPEA Sudetenland (Ploschkowitz) . 21 NPEA triangles were officially listed.
Here is a photo of NPEA Rufach in Elsaß.

Best regards

Eric

Hi Kev,

from March 1941 until February 1945, the NPEA Rufach had approximately 470 students who came from South Tyrol to be Germanized. The city of Rufach was liberated by US and French troops on February 5th, 1945. If you are interested in this school, here is the link :

Great information as usual. I can confirm what Erich states about Rufach, I recently obtained a large grouping of photos, letters and documents from a boy who was at Rufach. All the photos show only the SS Eagle in wear on the uniforms alongside the HJ Armband.
