Hi everybody,
here is my latest purchase I wanted to share with you.
It is a Nord nordsee triangle with again a variation in gothic lettertype.
It is IMO an early version, and has been removed from a tunic.
This brings my total at six different lettering for the same triangle.:clap2:

Sorry for the lack of quality of my pictures this time, but with one arm in a cast it s a bitt difficult to take dmn good pics.
And as it happens I ve already located yet another type, hope I can get my hands on this one also.:001_unsure:

just have a look and enjoy,
I've included a earlier posted picture of my other five triangles so you can compare this new one with the others.

any comment is welcome, certainly if somebody would have a clue on how many of these different types are in circulation?

Wow!
I have heard people say: I already own the Nord Nordsee Gebietsdreieck, it is quite common.
From now on I will reply: Which of the seven different variations have you got?
Bravo Wizardelf!
I like it if someone takes a second look at all the different details.
Well done! Thank you for sharing these treasures.

I had no idea that there were so many variations. Many congrats on putiing that set together. I see the very early 1933 type there which is nice.

To those interested,

As stated earlier I not only located a seventh variation but also did manage to buy it.
It should arrive next week, as soon as it gets here, pictures will be made to present it to all of you.

don't worry Mike !. The explanation is very simple.
The patterns are different because the triangles were made at different times.

That I understand,
but is there anybody, who has an idea on how many possible variations there might be?
Or somebody who allready tried to collect these different types of lettering, and has up untill now ..X variations. Would be nice to see and or to compare
(not necessarely the same gebiet as mine)
I'm curious about it.

I know someone in France who is a specialist with HJ triangles but he is very quiet at the moment and I would like that he comes forward.....! :welcome::france

Hello,

As triangle (among other themes) collector since a few years, I just want to help with this little contribution :

_There are the different periods (before the RZM regulations... and within the different RZM regulations).
_There are the different manufacturers. those who produce triangles since 1933 and the other ones who began later (even late in the war).
_There are the different periods of the different manufacturers. You have to know that the letters were first hand-drawn by the manufacturer's team before to be used on the woven machine. I notice that the way to translate the RZM regulations (within the RZM regulations period) was sometimes a little bit "personal" by almost all the designers.

In conclusion, the "old collector" who I am would, too, be very happy to have an answer to your question.

Best regards

Well Folks,
just arrived today, my latest variation of gothic lettering type.:clap2:
Backside shows signs that it was glued during its former life.
Unfortanetely for me, it is a BDM triangle.
But as the projekt goes about different variations, I will not hold it against it and therefore, include it in my collection.
Just have a peek and if you should feel compelled to comment, please do.:001_cool:
I'm, just like others, still waiting to get some info, on how many different variations there could be out there?
So once again, or should anybody have more than 7 different variations from one triangle, please do come forward and share the knowledge with others here on the forum.
