:yo:Everybody,
sometime ago I saw a brown tanfield area triangle with yellow/gold text.
As of now I've only seen this for the Obergebiet ; Nord/Nordsee.
Sorry, I do not have a picture.
Can anyone confirm that this this type of triangle has really been in use?
Were there other area's who used this type?

This type of triangle is also mentioned in
Angolia Hj volume 1, on page 237.
But since lately a lot of the documentation is put into question,:sneaky2: better to inquire for a second, third,......opinion.:001_tongue:
Thx

Hi,

The colour for the standard male Obergebiet/Gebiet triangle was laid down in 1933 (for the girls in 1934) and between then and 1945 those colours remained as they had always been. This gold on tan is a fantasy triangle.

But since lately a lot of the documentation is put into question,
And rightfully so, as long as it is done with a certain amount of respect, and factual, why not question anyone.
Debate can only help... just going along with what is printed is no help, not to us, or not to new collectors.

Thx guy's for your honest recommandations.
I know enough.
Items, wich are unsure, or are still up to this day questionable, don't deserve my attention.
It is my believe, if you've got an item in your collection, of wich the authenticity can not be confirmed 100% it will leave some doubt in once mind, and eventually will loose its value as times passes by.
SO I will not go along on this one.

Thx
