I will start with the most famous FlakHelfer...

then one of my favourite actors, Hardy Krüger. He was drafted in HJ at 13 and then fought against the american with the 38 Waffen SS Div Nibelungen on the Oder Front.

I`m not sure , but I think it was Krugger who played the W-SS General in the Movie " A Bridge Too Far .

If that is true then he is problibly the only former Waffen SS soldier to play a Waffen SS in post war Germany .

Not world wide fame except to people who study this topic or WW2 history,Manfred Rommel did'nt to bad for making a name for himself.
