Do you have a good opinion about this M1/120 HJ shooting badge, painted and not enamelled ?

Painted badges are common late war production ....1944 onwards .
 
Can we have a close up please, i myself have not yet come across a painted version, cheers Pete.

Do you have a good opinion about this M1/120 badge, painted and not enamelled ?

The one i earned at a wehrertüchtigungslager (millstattersee) was still enamelled, ironically there was a Hilfslandesführer who wore a painted one, earned sometimes in early 1943 or so.

As everything else, it was 'taken for safekeeping' when we capitulated (Waffen-SS) never to be seen again.
