Flak helper headgear.

Hi .
What kind of helmets did HJ flakhelpers use? luftschütz helmets , normally LW helmet or just what thay could get a hold on?

I have seen a picture of 17 year old BDM girls manning a Flakscheinwerfer wearing Luftwaffe helmets, HJ wearing Luftschutz helmets and even French army helmets!!

So Yes I beleive they wore what ever they could get hold of particularly towards "Endkampf" !

Most pictures that I have seen , have been flakhelfers wearing single decale luft helmets

I've seen both Luftschutz and Luftwaffe Helmets in use.

just be aware that those grey blue helmets often seen with hj and le decals are just czech fakes from the 70's. don't be fooled andwaste your money on them.
