I'm no expert on these but the appearance and detail all looks textbook to me. Flieger HJ side cap.

There is no HJ diamond just the eagle.. I found another Sommermutze with the red piping and a similar eagle. Not Napola ?

Hi,

There is more info on the eagle and the introduction of the cloth diamond in post #2 of the link below.

Hitler Youth HJ summer caps - when were the cloth eagle and the cloth diamond introduced?

A summer cap like the one you show in post #1 but with red (German: Hochrot) piping is for the "allgemeine HJ" i.e. anyone who wasn't a member of a specialist formation like Flieger-HJ, Nachrichten-HJ etc. The majority of HJ members would have worn this type. However, there was also a cap with "Karmesinrot" cord which was worn by those working in a staff appointment. More on that here (particularly post #6). Post #1 of the thread shows the difference between the two reds.

Those attending an NPEA wore this cap with a white identification cord.

What is generally known as a Flieger-HJ summer cap was also worn by doctors, chemists and dentists.

Was HJ diamond worn with the eagle? Were there flieger Napola schools? Or everyone in a NPEA wore the white cords? And white piping on shoulder board as well?

Yes, initially as a metal badge and then from Jan 1940 in cloth.

No

Yes, this came into effect in 1937 (Verordnungsblatt der RJF V/11 30.4.1937) so you'll find NPEA straps in brown cloth as well as on post-1938 black cloth. There are some really nice examples of both on the forum. Instructors i.e. higher ranks, are known to have worn black shoulder straps with aluminium stitching.
