your guess is as good as mine.... i wouldn't know a good Marine Cap badge if it crept up on me one night and bit me in the jollies... sure someone here will know though

If you look closely at the sides of the diamond you can barely see faint holes where a cockade had been taken out . In my opinion I think it is an Original Kreigsmarine cap wreath , however ; not Hitlerjugend .
