My collection

Hi meine Kameraden,

After my new addition that you can see in the great Tinnies’ Database, I would like to show you my Tinnies’ collection in a lovely show case that I just bought.

I started this Tinnie collection back in February this year; so obviously, I do not have that many. But I must say that I am delighted which each of them, and most important, for the big support that I have found here.

Take care guys.

Regards

Antonio

quit addictive , collecting.

I'm collecting hj for about a year now, and i've got me already a nice little starters collection. much tanks to the freebies on this forum.

Altough still waiting for some more reference books to come up on sale, I alway have to trust my guts on items.

I used to only look for stuff on ebay and other auction sites, and never look for items at fairs. Well, that has changed. I went to the bastogne fair earlier and was only looking for hj stuff. I even almost forgot that I went there to buy me a WWII radio set (US) for using in re enactment.

I found one canteen (flemish youth), complete with it's original cork. But I'm not sure weather it's hj or boy scouts, for all i can see it even could be WWI, as a nuumber is printed on the back side on the covering holder of the canteen. all I've got is the makers name and registration nummber of the canteen.

mayby some one here knows some info as i can not find the producer on the internet.
the meker is: X Buisset Vilvorde (should be Vilvoorde as its a flemish community:blink:)
and the engraved nummber is : B 22680

the buttons are showing a lelie like patern as the french one does

I'll try to post a pic later on of the canteen.

Well, I updated the Tinnie Data base with this one.

It is the famous Potsdam 1932, Bronze version.

It looks quite damaged and the clip has been fixed (poorly fixed), but still, in hand, it is just a lovely Tinnie.

So, I will keep it quiet for a while and will come back for more in a couple of weeks... Looking forward.
