Hi everyone,

glad I am able now to post some pics.
besides collecting WH equipment I have developed a strong interest in HJ and DJ but due to limited space, I just threw everything into boxes.
We are moving in September, then I will have my own room for my collection.

Honestly I do not really know a lot about HJ items by now, so I just gathered everything I could find. It is probably nothing spectacular, no uniforms, no flags... but I just started and who knows what stuff I will find this summer.

Cheers,
Chris

First part:
Breadbag
Different breadbag - see the pattern on the buttons
Mittens - same pattern on the buttons again
Cap, dark blue - probably no HJ/DJ item
Canteen - probably private purchase
Scarf - postwar?
Leather knot
Drum - the stamp might be fake, I am not sure...

Very nice stuff.

Thanks.
Does anyone know anything about the buttons of the breadbag and the mittens?
Is this HJ or something else?
What about the blue cap, I suppose it is a usual private ski cap of the 50ies?

Chris

Really nice RZM breadbag, i love this stuff !
Streifendienst: Brotbeutel

Thanks. I am really proud of the RZM Brotbeutel.
It is at the moment the best HJ item that I own.

The Streifendienst link is quite useful. Not exactly the Brotbeutel that I have but very similar. I am not sure about mine. The buttons are rivetted as well, but marked 'Waldes Pat.' which I think is a czech manufacturer? On the other hand the pattern on the buttons is very remarkable. I have seen this on Napola Tornisters and even fieldgrey caps - but I dont know if it was assigned only to HJ items or if it was just a common pattern on buttons of that time.
