Lauri,

19 = A1, which means Mützenfabrik; 19 is for H. Schade, known as the
Kasseler Mützenindustrie, later renamed as Mützenfabrik at Kassel. This is
mentioned in the RZM handbook 1935 and 1938 RZM manufacturer's list.

Great how you do supply us with information: original item with close-ups,
along with a drawing and labels. Great. Please continue with this as it makes
this thread a most interesting one with great information.

Thanks Patrick.

Very nice collection. Were the HJ HBT's part of the regular HJ uniform, or were they only worn by members in a special school or something like that? If part of the regular uniform, would they have only been worn with the summer uniform if they weather was cooler, after the switch from winter to summer uniforms?

The HJ Drill uniforms were worn at special training schools ( WE Lager etc ) This was not regular Hitlerjugend uniform kit .

I really enjoy your photographs Lauri. As Wim said, when you present the regulations and drawings with the item it really adds something. I never tire of viewing your collection Lauri, it's one of my favorites.
