Hello to all here.
Its bin a long while that i have posted something sorry for the long abcence.
I have tried to find more of my grand fathers past and his brother and it took me a long time to do this due to the surcumstances (hope i wrigth it correct) that happend.
My grandfather was for sure in the HJ there's no doubt about it know.
I have spoken to my grandmother about it and she told me alot of what happend in de war.
His mother worked in a amunitionfactory here in east flanders in a place called burcht.
The reason he went to HJ is because he dident go to school alot so he came in to trouble ofcours and a way to keep him out was handed by her best friend ho was having un affair with a officer who was in charge there.
So he told my great grandmother that he would take care of it by sending him to a school in germany to study a profession.
What he didnt tell her that he was going to HJ ofcours.
As a mother of 3 kids and alone in that time i can understand that it was good news for her.
So they took him to Gent belgium and from there he went to germany first to hannover then to Braunschweig here is where he got his uniform if the info a have got is correct, and from there he went to Magdeburg Junkers flugzeug und motorewerke AG where he was to the end of the war.
His brother here in that picture in my first postthat was took in the factory where he was working on a voluntary base he went whit un uncle who was already working there.
Tis was in Krefeld i do not no the name of the fatory because the persone doesnt like to talk about the war so much,
But i did get some info about it.
Where he work they made those long jakets like Wachtmantels or the one they used it wintertime.
They also painted the fabric there and there was a machine where the made the paper for the gasplane that the soldiers used.
So if some body knows somthing that could give me some more info regarding my grandfathers whereabouts like a name from the school he went to,
Or the name of the factory in krefeld where they made stuff like this please let me know.
I will verry much appriciated.
Many regards and thanks in advance to all here on this forum.
