What cap is he wearing?

Cap does not look to be German , especially with that tassel ... possibly SPANISH ?
 
TO THE BEST OF MY KNOWLEDGE ONLY ONE COUNTRY WORE A CAP LIKE THIS IN THIS PERIOD BEING SPAIN AND POSSIBLY GREECE BUT DO NOT THINK THEY HAD YOUTH INVOLVED WITH GERMANY :canada1

No, not Denmark. The NSU cap had a white tassel. The German minority youth in Denmark (NSDAP-N) used a uniform very similar to the HJ uniform. To me the cap on the photo looks more like Spanish, and then not quite.
 
I am sure it is not spanish as I used to own some Falange pieces, army and youth and they don't have this cut. And all pieces from these years.
