It's a period armband IMO. Earlier version. The blue RZM tag with an A4 code is from the spring of 1935 to late 1936 early 1937 time frame.

I have one of these armbands with the same construction, no glow, but it has a “red” tag,

Can anyone date or confirm the year.

Thank, Richard

Richard, the blue tags were used up until 1936 with a "TA" designation for textile manufacturing. The red "A4" was used after 1936. The tag really won't tell exact date of manufacture, but the ink stamp does correspond to the RZM permit number and there are lists of manufacturers and permit numbers.

It surprises me to learn this this can be authentic as the workmanship is so poor. The hakenkreuz is crooked in more ways than one. Shame on the seamstress, I say.

By the way, my own mother was a seamstress so maybe I pay too much attention to these things.
